Country Living to offer branded gifts through Boots

LONDON - The National Magazine Company's Country Living magazine has teamed up with high-street chemist Boots to launch a range of Christmas gift products aimed at reflecting the title's values.

There will be 30 products on offer altogether, all of which will carry the Country Living name and logo.

The Country Living product range includes an afternoon tea basket costing 拢18, a gardener's gift set of quality tools and handcare products priced at 拢25, and a rejuvenating Mineral Muscle Soak costing 拢6.

Susy Smith, editor of Country Living, said: "The range is beautifully designed and extremely reasonably priced -- it has certainly solved many of my Christmas present dilemmas."

The deal will be extended to other occasions beyond Christmas including Mother's Day, when a new range will be introduced in Boots stores across the country.

The magazine's existing brand extensions include its spring and Christmas fairs, held in autumn and spring. The next is the Country Living Christmas Fair at London's Business Design Centre from November 12-16 2003.

In the latest set of ABCs for the January to July 2003 period, the title recorded its fifth consecutive increase year on year with a rise of 4.3% to 170,137.
