This year's awards have are already proving to be highly competitive, with more than 300 entries from agencies, brands and partners across 23 categories. Read who made here, with a line-up including brands such as Google, Nike, Topshop and Barclays.
ILEA UK will be bringing a number of event management students to the awards for the second year running, with ILEA UK president Alistair Turner saying a key part of the work it has done as an association over the last 18 months and certainly for the next, is a focus on the #eventprofs of tomorrow.
He said: "Our partnership with Event magazine has allowed us to do this and we've already got in front of hundreds of students through a programme of university visits. This partnership has provided students with a steady mixture of inspiration, information and insight, and has been really warmly accepted by universities."
Turner added that ILEA is encouraging students to engage in the future growth of the industry and to underline the massive value it has to businesses and brands. "To do this they need to see the very best people succeeding, and thats why we're delighted to be brining more students to the Event Awards again this year."
