
The event will be hosted by Angus Deayton and will raise funds to improve treatment, care and research at the hospital.
"I’m really looking forward to getting in that kitchen and cooking up a treat for guests," said Thomson.
"I love cooking but I’m used to preparing meals for family and friends so making dishes for so many is really going to test my metal but at the end of the day its about having fun to raise money for a worthwhile cause that I know makes a difference to children at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital," he added.
