Coca-Cola expands Let's Get Together consumer site to healthcare professionals

LONDON - Coca-Cola Great Britain has launched an interactive website for healthcare professionals, to provide relevant information and resources relating to soft drinks and health.

The site contains a blog from Coca-Cola's public health nutritionist, Dr Beckie Lang, as well as the opportunity to post comments on health and soft drink issues. It includes provides links to other relevant sites and downloadable resources for healthcare professionals.

The soft drinks giant said that at a later date, ‘the site will be delivering independent Continuing Professional Development modules for health professionals on scientific topics relating to soft drinks and health, in conjunction with credible third parties.'

The site, , builds on the consumer site Let's Get Together (), and enables visitors to access information that they need on the company, from details on nutritional content of their drinks, to Coca-Cola's vision is for the future.

Sanjay Guha, president of Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: ‘We recognise there are a lot of questions about our company and our products, and we see this site as a further extension to our transparent and open 'Let's Get Together' site.'

The Let's Get Together site launched in January 2008 with the aim of providing a forum for consumers to ask Coca-Cola questions about the company and its brands.
