CNN focus on India in association with Oberoi Hotels

LONDON - CNN International is to launch 'Eye on India' week in association with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts to be backed up with an integrated marketing campaign.

From September 4 to 12, promotional TV spots on CNN accompanied by print and online ads will drive awareness of India's rapidly changing role in the global, political and business environment.

Live and feature programming on India will feature throughout the week with a live televised forum hosted by CNN's Jim Clancy with an expert panel from New Delhi and Washington to focus on the current international debate over outsourcing.

Chris Cramer, managing director of CNN International, said: "Given India's increasing importance on the global stage, CNN's 'Eye on India' will focus on the country and its diverse assets.

"We are pleased to launch this exciting programming initiative, in association with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts as the presenting sponsor."

Oberoi operates 17 hotels and resorts in six countries including India, Mauritius, Indonesia and Australia and a Nile cruiser in Egypt and India.
