Clear Channel appoints Francis and Harrison to group sales roles

Outdoor media company Clear Channel has promoted Caroline Francis and Debbie Harrison to group head roles in the national sales team.

Reporting to sales controllers Cennydd Roberts and Simon Wardell respectively, Harrison and Francis will work closely with agencies and their clients to drive revenues.

Francis will continue working with Starcom and Group M agencies and Harrison will manage relationships with Aegis, Omnicom, Havas, ZenithOptimedia and Walker.

Steve Atkinson, group sales director at Clear Channel, said: "These internal promotions are another demonstration of how we put people at the heart of our business here at Clear Channel."

Harrison started her career at Emap Radio before joining Clear Channel in August 2008 as account manager. Francis has been at Clear Channel for over six years and has worked her way up the ladder from assistant through to her newly appointed role as group head.

Earlier this month, in constant currency terms to $1.51bn (£940m).

Operating income was $56.3m, compared with a $68.7m operating loss in 2009.
