In return for ad spots run on LBC News between 6am and 8am, City AM will run a daily brand ad for the radio station. The newspaper currently claims a circulation of 65,000, distributed each morning in the City of London and Canary Wharf.
The LBC News spots will run every 30 minutes, based on news and features that appear in that morning's edition of the freesheet.
Jeremy Philips, City AM director, said: "As this campaign evolves, we expect to move into closer marketing partnerships such as special events, award schemes and other initiatives all soon to be unveiled."
LBC News 1152AM has a weekly reach of 328,000 and is London's only dedicated 24-hour rolling news station.
Jonathan Richards, editorial director of LBC News, said: "By working with City AM, our listeners will know that they can turn to the pages of City AM for background and views on the stories they hear. Our relationship will also help raise awareness of two unique and complimentary products."
