Capitalising on the playful and friendly nature of the C3, this execution sees a fleet of C3 cars leaping and diving through the sea like dolphins. To make the action as realistic as possible, dolphins were studied in huge detail and the footage was then recreated with cars in CGI. Live action filming was done in two different oceans (Indian and South Atlantic) to get the best underwater and above water footage. Cars leaping through the sea were done using a combination of CGI and filming at Pinewood studios; one-third size models and a catapult to help achieve flight! The action is set against the classic soundtrack of Beyond the Sea, and ends with the line "Designed for happiness".
