
David Stubbs, former head of sustainability at London 2012, will also be speaking at the event, which is taking place on 24 January 2013 at The Crystal in east London.
Stubbs, who is now member of the IOC Evaluation Commission, said: "I have had unique insight into the growing importance of sustainability in the event industry and look forward to sharing my experience of supporting projects, which will influence the international implementation of sustainability in the event industry."
The summit has also garnered support from ICCA and the Britain for Events campaign.

Earlier this month, at the summit, which will feature interactive education sessions including living case studies and 'meet the expert' opportunities.
