Cirque Bijou to wow Grantham with aerial show

Outdoor theatre company Cirque Bijou has created a new aerial performance for the finale of Grantham's Gravity Fields Festival on Friday 28 September.

The show, entitled Starstruck, will be part of the 'Transformation of the Town’ event, and includes aerial acrobats dancing in the air as the planets rotate above audience’s heads and beautiful celestial images are projected onto Grantham Guildhall.

Even Isaac Newton takes part in a street theatre parade on a fantastical carnival float.

The festival - celebrating science and art in Isaac Newton’s hometown - includes more than 100 local events and runs from 21 – 28 September. It. It is organised by Rosa Productions and funded by South Kesteven District Council and Arts Council England.
