
The tie-up will see the cinema collective, which created Secret Cinema and The Other Cinema, stage immersive productions at Wilderness that takes place at Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire from 10 -12 August this year.
On 10 August, Future Cinema will transform the site into 1920s New York to recreate its recent to life.
Pop-up prohibition parties, speakeasy hideaways and splurge-gun fights will take place throughout the day, concluding with an outdoor screening of the film accompanied by a cast of Bugsy characters performing scenes, sideshows and stunts in the evening. There will then be a late night celebration at Dandy Dan's Woodland Speakeasy.
On 12 August, the latest production from The Other Cinema – a cinema network which encourages communities to set up their own local cinema – will present the 1990s French film La Haine with a live score performed by Asian Dub Foundation.
Live graffiti artists, break dancers and spoken word artists will also perform, as in the
Fabien Riggall, founder and creative director of Future Cinema said he saw Wilderness as "one of the most exciting new arts festivals around."

For us, it's about delivering cultural experiences that are individually tailored to the majestic landscape of Cornbury Park and we're delighted to have the Future Cinema team create a series of truly ambitious cinematic happenings over each of the three days this August."
