MRM McCann London has appointed Chris Pearce as chief executive.
±±¾©Èü³µpk10 revealed last month that Pearce was leaving TMW Unlimited, where he was chief executive, after more than 11 years.
At MRM McCann, Pearce will work closely with chairwoman and chief creative officer Nicky Bullard, who joined the Interpublic agency in 2016 from Lida. Pearce's start date has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to be in the summer.
Pearce replaces Olly Foot, who has spent 17 years at MRM McCann and its predecessor agencies, and was chief executive for the past three years. Foot is leaving to explore other opportunities.
Bullard called Pearce "someone I’ve admired for a long, long time", adding: "His amazing ability and phenomenal energy make him a fantastic addition to the stellar MRM McCann team here in London, helping to power the agency forward to the next level."
Pearce joined TMW in 2007 as business director after spending the majority of his career at two agencies that he founded: Holder Henry Pearce & Bailey and Blowfish Advertising. At TMW, he was promoted to chief client officer in 2010, managing director in 2012 and joint chief executive in 2014, before taking sole charge the following year.
He said: "When the opportunity came to join the irrepressible Nicky Bullard and her brilliant team, it was just too good to resist. I’m looking forward to working closely with Nicky to help drive the agency to even greater heights, grow strong brands and make as much of a dent in the London universe as possible."
