CHI's Burley joins RKCR/Y&R

Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R has appointed Jonathan Burley, outgoing chief creative officer at CHI & Partners, in the same role.

Burley will be responsible for RKCR/Y&R’s creative department and product across the agency’s roster of UK clients, including Marks & Spencer and the BBC. He will report to chief executive Jon Sharpe. 

Mark Roalfe, chairman and executive creative director of RKCR/Y&R becomes chairman, and will focus on global accounts, including Danone and Colgate.

At CHI & Partners since 2010, Burley oversaw the creative direction of work for brands including The Sunday Times, British Gas, Argos and Lexus. He no longer has any shares in CHI & Partners or The & Partnership. 

Burley was previously at Leo Burnett. He joined as creative director on McDonald’s in 2006 and became executive creative director in 2007.
