CheezeDMG to handle digital marketing for Blyth Valley

LONDON - Insurance provider Blyth Valley has appointed digital agency CheezeDMG to handle its digital marketing account.

The agency was awarded the business without a pitch, by Alex Wright, marketing director at Blyth Valley. The account will be headed by CheezeDMG group account director Pete Oxlade, supported by account director Nina Christensen.

The provider of businesses insurance for small and medium-sized businesses and independent consultants has asked the agency to initially work on its paid search campaigns. CheezeDMG will then begin working on display advertising, affiliate and social media marketing.

Blyth Valley looks after the insurance needs of a number of professional associations, including the Chartered Society of Designers, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Design Association. It was the first company to sell professional indemnity insurance online in the UK.

Founded in 1999, CheezeDMG was acquired by Digital Marketing Group in 2007 for £9.5m. Clients include Oxfam, PDSA and Budget Car Rental.
