Activities will include event- triggered email campaigns, designed to coincide with new content becoming available on the service.
The e-mail agency will also advise Channel 4 on e-mail creative and how best to deploy the permission-based campaign. CheetahMail's tools will also allow Channel 4 to personalise e-mail campaigns to view demographics and preferences.
Claire Brossard, marketing manager for Channel 4, said she wanted to ensure that all e-mails were targeted to each viewer's own interests.
