Channel 4 launches Big Brother radio show

LONDON - Channel 4 is launching a new live phone-in radio show called Big Brother's Big Ears, which will be broadcast twice weekly through the C4 website.

The show begins tomorrow to coincide with the launch of Big Brother 9 and will be hosted by Big Ears presenter Iain Lee and co-host Gemma Cairney. Big Brother host Davina McCall will also be joining them for the first show.

Post-launch, the radio show will stream live twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Friday edition will include a live interview with the latest person to be evicted.

Somethin' Else, a cross-platform production company, has created Big Brother's Big Ears with the intention of giving fans a platform to speak their mind.

As well as insider gossip and celebrity guests, fans will have the opportunity to have their say in Big Up - the official Big Brother Barometer that will rate anything going on in the house. Users will be able to contact the show via phone, e-mail and text.

Virgin Media will sponsor the show as part of its overall sponsorship deal for Big Brother 9.
