Changes at IPC Country & Leisure as O'Farrell's role is expanded

LONDON - IPC Country & Leisure Media has reorganised its publishing operation and expanded publishing director Angela O'Farrell's range of titles.

O'Farrell is to expand her portfolio, which includes Web User and Hi Fi News, to include Amateur Photographer, What Camera? and What Digital Camera?, Railway and Aeroplane magazines.

In her enhanced publishing director role, Angela will report directly to Country & Leisure managing director Paul Williams.

The changes also see Alex Robb appointed publisher of Amateur Gardening, Angler's Mail, Cage & Aviary Birds and Bird Keeper. In his new role, he will report to publishing director Hamish Dawson.

Williams said: "This reorganisation of responsibilities is designed to better reflect the current needs of our business and to create groupings of brands that will each benefit from being positioned together under one publishing manager."

The two appointments are effective from June 1.
