The upmarket health spa chain is opening a temporary store in Central MK shopping centre in Milton Keynes for ten days from 14 December. This follows a promotional stint at Westfield London White City shopping centre from 6-12 December.
Special deals on spa packages, vouchers and Christmas gifts are available and Champneys therapists will be on hand to provide complementary treatments such as hand massages.
The campaign is the latest in a line of pop-ups TRO has initiated this year. It is currently rolling out a series of six for BMW Group UK for both BMW and Mini. BMW pop-up shops have appeared in Bristol and Leicester and the first Mini store opens in Bristol tomorrow for six weeks. Visitors will be able to play Xbox games and table football, build their own Mini and buy merchandise.
Sarah Mayo, brand and business development director at TRO, said the agency was experiencing a lot of interest in pop-ups from clients.
"Pop-ups allow brands to reach a new audience and to interact with them when they have a bit of down time and when they may be more receptive," she said.
TRO also developed a pop-up campaign for Vauxhall’s Network Q and is launching a pop-up concept called ‘Spontaneous cinema’ for LG in Westfield.
