Channel 4 documentary 'The Hospital', this week featuring a midwife describing the hostility of some teenage mums, drew 2.6m viewers and a 10.5% share of the audience. Including Channel 4+1 figures it reached 2.9m viewers.
'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', which saw the team investigating the death of a man who committed suicide in a courthouse, netted 2.5m viewers and a 10.2% share of the audience.
It beat the second part of BBC Two's 'Horse People with Alexandra Tolstoy', which saw Tolstoy taking a dressage lesson in Jerez in Andalucia, Spain. The programme attracted 1m viewers and a 4% share of the audience.
Earlier in the evening a new series of 'Gok's Fashion Fix', which saw stylist Gok Wan creating a capsule wardrobe for care-worker Dawn and styling Janet Street Porter, scored 2.5m viewers and a 10.3% share of the 8pm-9pm audience.
Including Channel 4+1 figures it reached 2.6m viewers.
