Celebrities to launch magazine for reality show

LONDON - ITV and Emap magazine Closer have teamed up to produce a reality TV programme in which 10 celebrities will produce a celebrity magazine.

The programme, to launch later this year on ITV2, will bring together ten as yet unnamed celebrities to write the magazine, with the working title Deadline, to be bound into the centre of Closer.

The cameras will follow the celebs as they write stories, look for gossip, interview their peers and try to "out-pap" the paparazzi.

The 12-page magazine will be edited by Janet Street-Porter and Big Pictures photo agency boss Darren Lyons.

Advertising will be sold by the Closer sales team. The programme is produced by Tiger Aspect.
