The company won the brief after a four-way pitch against three undisclosed publishers.
Cedar has already worked with the company by providing UK content for the pilot issue, which was produced earlier in the year.
The 76-page title, which launches in October, will be called Eight and is aimed at players of online casino games.
As well as online gambling, the magazine will also include content on sport, fashion and travel. There will be 26 ad sites in the publication and cross-promotional opportunities on the 888.com magazine site.
Tim Fennell, who has been working as a consultant for News Magazines and Redwood, will edit the title.
Clare Broadbent, the managing director at Cedar, said: "The sales team is positioning Eight to reach a high-spending, mainly male audience."
Justine Daly, the commercial director at 888.com, said: "It's great to offer a product which reaches such an affluent and targeted audience."
