Cedar announces management rejig after MD departs

LONDON – The Omnicom-owned customer publisher Cedar Communications has parted company with its managing director Jules Rastelli, sparking a management reshuffle at the agency.

Rastelli, who is leaving to pursue his own projects, will be replaced by the deputy managing director, Clare Broadbent.

Broadbent will take on the day-to-day running of the agency, maintaining the company's senior client relationships. Mark Jones, the editorial director, takes on Rastelli's strategic and new business responsibilties. Justine Daly has been promoted to the new role of commercial director.

Broadbent was made the deputy managing director in 2001. She joined in 1992 when the company was known as Premier, two years before it was bought by Omnicom. She rose through the ranks in various publishing and sales roles and became a board account director on Cedar's flagship client, British Airways.
