CCR Data outsources data cleansing with Experian Intact

LONDON – Database bureau and mailing house CCR Data has refined its data cleansing process by moving to one centrally managed resource provided by Experian's Intact online service.

The Royal Mail-accredited company expects to save time and money compared with its previous approach of loading and maintaining several suppression files.

CCR realised that the process of collating and updating its suppression files could easily be outsourced, according to managing director Edward Spicer.

"By using Experian Intact, we can now go to a single point of contact to improve clients' data quality. This, combined with the breadth and depth of coverage Experian's data sources offer, means that we will be able to quickly execute data cleansing requirements 24 hours a day, seven days a week," he said.

Since its launch in May 2001, Experian says Intact has become the UK and Europe's most widely used online data cleansing service.
