Show organisers MCI Exhibitions said that "savings achieved against last year's budget will once again be used to maintain stability within the show by means of a price freeze to both stand holders and visitors".
Many major exhibitions are expected to follow suit, maintaining profitability by attracting visitors with lowered or stabilised prices.
"This year's show is designed to secure both the long-term future of the event and maintain the newly recovered air of vibrancy and atmosphere experienced in 2008," said MCI Exhibitions managing director Finlay McAllan. "With this initiative in place, we now believe that we can reward the loyalty of the visitors and exhibitors with a price plan that reflects our appreciation of both attendees and supporters."
