Carlson Marketing appoints new head of Peppers & Rogers

LONDON – Carlson Marketing has appointed Steve Luengo-Jones as the new head of Peppers & Rogers Group, its consulting division in Europe.

Luengo-Jones is joining the group from Impaq after one year as director of consulting. He will be taking over from Jose Ferrao, who previously held the role and was recently promoted to president of Carlson Marketing EMEA.

Prior to working at Impaq, Luengo-Jones held senior positions in companies including British Airways, Avis, Thorn EMI, ERA Technology, GM and EDS.

In his new role at Pepper & Rogers Group, Luengo-Jones will be responsible for ensuring clients benefit from the group's offerings and to grow its client base within Europe.

Luengo-Jones's career accomplishments include the launch of the British Airways Executive Club Gold Card in the 1980s and the creation of a new consulting model at EDS in the late 90s.

Luengo-Jones is also the author of 'All-to-One', a book about a consumer centric approach to managing business, published by McGraw-Hill in December 2000.

Ferrao said: "Steve's philosophy of creating customer-focused businesses with a culture of service permeating each level of activity from company culture to brand image and external marketing is a perfect fit with Carlson Marketing's approach to client solutions."
