
The deal will extend the beer manufacturer's partnership with the tournament to 14 seasons, making it the longest running competition sponsorship in domestic football.
Coors has sponsored the competition for nine seasons via its Carling brand and five through the Worthington's brand.
Throughout the coming three-year term, the tournament will receive comprehensive coverage from Sky Sports and BBC Sport, with both broadcasters showing live coverage of the final.
There will also be two live matches for each of the earlier rounds on Sky Sports and competition highlights on the BBC.
Average crowds for matches in the competition are at their highest for more than 30 years, after a 21% rise in attendances last season that saw the average crowd figure reach 14,343.
Football League chairman Lord Mawhinney said: "Considering the prevailing economic climate, it is extremely heartening to have the continued support of a widely respected brand such as Carling."
