Carbon Trust appoints three agencies to advertising roster

LONDON - The Carbon Trust has appointed WCRS, Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest and Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R to its advertising roster, bringing to an end a seven-month statutory review of its arrangements.

The agencies beat off competition from McCann Erickson, Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy and Leo Burnett.

The Carbon Trust, which advises UK businesses on how to cut carbon emissions, started the review of its £50m advertising and communications statutory review last year.

The roster will be in place for four years and agencies will be selected to handle briefs on a project-by-project basis.

Last month, the government-funded body appointed MRM Worldwide, Ogilvy Interactive, Tequila\London and WDMP to its digital roster.

EdwardsGroomSaunders, Manning Gottlieb OMD and Media Planning have been appointed to its media planning roster.
