Carat and the7stars face off for finance company pitch

LONDON - Carat and the7stars are set to go head to head in a pitch for the £5m media planning and buying account for finance firm Money, Debt & Credit.

The7stars is headed up by: Colin Mills, former Carat managing director; Jenny Biggam, former Carat marketing director; and Mark Jarvis, the agency's former head of media.

The two-way pitch will determine the winning agency the task of promoting the firm on national TV, in the press and online.

Pitches are scheduled for next week and the process is being overseen by Daniel Jackson, Money Debt & Credit marketing director.

This pitch follows the recent appointment of New Brand Vision Group to manage all web-based marketing for the organisation.

For the7stars, the pitch comes as it is invited by EMI to vie for its UK media planning and buying business in the final quarter of the year, going up against incumbents Carat and MCS.
