Captain Birds Eye becomes first sponsor of Sky Interactive

LONDON - Unilever's Captain Birds Eye has become the first advertiser to sponsor one of the sections on the interactive Sky Active channel.

For four weeks the brand will sponsor the channel's Health & Lifestyle section in an interactive expansion of its Nutrition Mission campaign.

Throughout the sponsorship Sky Active will publish a series of editorials that fit the Captain Birds Eye campaign. The Captain Birds Eye branding will feature throughout the Heath & Lifestyle section throughout the sponsorship.

Alasdair Wright, director of Sky Active, said: "Last year's re-design of Sky Active as a magazine-style channel has created unprecedented opportunities for advertisers to get more closely involved in interactive content.

Clients can choose either to extend existing interactive campaigns with supporting editorial content or to pursue standalone opportunities within Sky Active.

"Captain Birds Eye's Nutrition Mission is an excellent illustration of how Sky Active can engage consumers in content that supports advertisers' commercial objectives. We look forward to exploring the exciting potential of branded interactive content still further in the future."
