Capscan diversifies with de-duplication tool

LONDON - Capscan, an address management software specialist, is entering the data health management market with the launch of a de-duplication product called MatchManager.

The company has made a strategic decision to develop a range of data health management products.

Terry Hiles, the Capscan managing director, said: "Our core area of expertise is address management and data cleansing, so we turned to the leader in de-duplication - DQ Global - to combine our industry-leading technologies to develop an accurate and effective de-duplication tool."

Capscan said MatchManager would quickly and accurately find duplicates in either individual or across multiple databases to ensure a single customer view. It cross-matches to other databases, mailing lists, suppression or enhancement datasets as required and no import of data, formatting or pre-preparation is required.
