Cannes Lions reveals direct and promo juries

LONDON - The members of this year's Direct Lions and Promo Lions juries have been revealed by the organisers of the 55th Cannes Lions international advertising festival, with 20:20 and OgilvyOne representing the UK.

The Direct Lions jury has 31 members, making it the largest jury in Cannes and it will be chaired by Marcio Salem, president and creative director of Salem in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Armin Jochum, chief creative officer of BBDO Stuttgart and Berlin, Germany, will lead the Promo jury.

The Direct Lions jury members include Peter Riley, creative partner of 20:20 London and Emma de la Fosse, creative partner of OgilvyOne Worldwide.

Members of the Promo jury include Shelford Chandler, executive creative director of The Marketing Store. The full jury lists can be viewed .

The Direct and Promo Lions launched in 2002 and 2006 respectively.

Philip Thomas, Cannes festival CEO, said: "We have two great groups of skilled professionals, who as well as judging the creativity of the work will also take into consideration the strategy, execution and results of the entries in these categories."

Judging of all entries will take place in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes during the festival week with the winners of both categories revealed on June 16.
