Cannes Direct shortlist features 30 UK entries

CANNES - Direct marketing agencies from the UK have made a strong showing at this year's Cannes Lions, with 30 shortlisted entries from 14 agencies.

Harrison Troughton Wunderman leads the way with six shortlisted campaigns, two for GreenTomatoCars Car Service and Rolls-Royce and one for Microsoft and Fitness First.

Ogilvy Group UK has got four campaigns on the shortlist and Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel, Proximity and RMG Connect each have three.

20:20 London and Story each have two entries, for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and its Gangs of London campaign and The Glenmorangie Company respectively.

Partners Andrews Aldridge, Wunderman London, Claydon Heeley, MRM Worldwide, EHS Brann, WWAV Rapp Collins and Saatchi & Saatchi have one entry each.

The awards, including the prestigious Grand Prix and Direct Agency of the Year, will be announced at a ceremony tonight.
