The '50 years of the Grand Prix' screening and awards event will honour individuals, advertisers and agencies that have won multiple Grand Prix awards over the 50-year history of the advertising festival.
The award categories will be directors, agencies, production companies and advertisers, with those honoured receiving a special Lion.
Directors Ridley Scott and Jo Pytka, advertisers Procter & Gamble and Nestle and agencies J Walter Thompson and DDB are in line for awards.
The event will be held on Thursday June 19.
Earlier this week, the festival unveiled an overhaul of the Cannes Lions website for the 50th anniversary. The new site offers a searchable section for winners and finalists and puts it in keeping with the anniversary logo created by Saatchi & Saatchi.
The site was redesigned by digital agency Thoughtbubble.
