1. Apple "Taylor vs Treadmill" by Apple
Perhaps unsurprisingly this ad raced to the top of the Viral Chart this week with 710,061 shares. It has all the ingredients for social media popularity: a globally popular brand, a globally recognised pop star, and a moment of comedy magic when poor Taylor is so distracted by rapping along to a Drake track that she drops to the floor off the treadmill. It's most probably a stunt double, but let's not nitpick.
2. LG Electronics "LG G5: Jason Statham Commercial" by Energy BBDO
If it wasn't for Taylor Swift, this ad would almost certainly have topped the chart, with 154,251 shares over the past seven days. This fun spot sees the Transporter star play every single character, ranging from a baby (and not a cute one) to a bank robber.
3. Apple "iPhone 6S - Timer" by TBWA/Media Arts Lab

4. Google "Google Cardboard Plastic" by Google

6. Sony "Sony develops the world's first ghost-catching device - The Proton Pack"
It's another April Fools' Day prank – this time by Sony who have unveiled a "proton pack", the ghost-catching kit used by Bil Murray and Dan Aykroyd in the classic 1984 movie Ghostbusters. Sony has made a reboot of the movie, using an all-female cast, which is due to be released later this year. It was shared 30,817 times over the past seven days.
7. YouTube Spotlight "Experience YouTube in #SnoopaVision" by YouTube
Another April 1 prank: YouTube introduces a new option to "watch all videos in 360 [degrees]" with Snoop Dogg, the veteran rapper. It's never quite clear what Snoopavision actually is, but watching Snoop acting as a technical consultant is quite amusing: "I coded the hell out of this software to get me up in there!" This ad was shared 30,199 times.
8. Heavy Bubbles "HeavyBubbles™ TV Commercial" by Allenby Concept House
If you're a Game of Thrones fan, you probably twigged very quickly that this is another April Fools' prank. Sodastream employed Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (who plays Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane in the fantasy drama) to front a fake TV ad for Heavy Bubbles – "the drink that makes you sweat". It was shared 28,239 times.
