CACI restructures as Kimber quits for consultancy

LONDON - Caroline Kimber, vice-president of CACI, is to leave the company in October to set up her own consultancy. CACI will become one of her first clients.

Her decision has prompted a restructure within CACI. The company's direct marketing division, which was run by Kimber, will now have CACI's financial services business as well as a new analytics acquisition, Imaj Consulting, under its umbrella. The unit will be led by Tracy Weir, CACI's current head of location planning.

Kimber said her decision to leave was prompted by a desire to spend more time with her children. "I'm setting up my own consultancy to give me a bit more flexibility with balancing home and work life", she said.

She adds: "CACI will be giving me consultancy projects so I won't be completely severing the ties. I'll also be speaking to various contacts about other work."

Paul Winters, managing director of CACI's marketing solutions division, says: "We're really sorry to see Caroline go but we understand her reasons. She has contributed fantastically to CACI's success in the past 14 years. We will miss her and, of course, wish her well."
