Burston takes up consumer data role at Wegener DM

LONDON - Jonathan Burston has joined Wegener DM, the marketing data company, as commercial director of its consumer data division.

Before joining Wegener, Burston was sales director at Uni-Marketing, which he joined in 1999. Prior to Uni-Marketing he was at HLB, the list arm of direct marketing agency WWAV Rapp Collins.

Suzanne Soper, executive director of Wegener DM, said: "Jonathan has excellent skills right across the board and a great commercial track record. His appointment is a clear indication of our continued commitment to the consumer data marketplace, and I look forward to working with him and to some exciting times ahead."

Wegener DM provides consumer lifestyle data to the marketing industry. It has a turnover of 拢30m in the UK, employing 450 staff in eight locations and is part of Dutch media company Royal Wegener.
