The account, which covers a number of the brands within the group, is worth over half-a-million pounds annually and excludes media.
The first creative work includes advertising, point of sale, direct marketing and exhibition work for Burnden's K2 brand, which is a market leader in conservatory roof systems in the UK and also established in the US. The campaign will promote a partnership scheme being developed by K2.
Alan Bullock, managing director of 999 Design Manchester, said: "In a market with a proliferation of different initiatives already in existence, we wanted to create a mark of difference for K2 and develop a brand that reflected its ethos and could work with all aspects of its business."
999 Design has offices in Glasgow, London and Manchester. Clients include Reebok, Sony PlayStation, Warburton's, Orange and Highland Spring.
