It was organised by Chillisauce and involved 358 people, with Bupa staff and children from four primary schools in Tower Hamlets taking part.

After a warm-up and some games the attempt was successful and the group of ‘hopscotchers’ were declared the Guinness World Record holders of the largest number of people simultaneously playing hopscotch.

Bupa’s Global Challenge 2011 campaign aims to get more than 35,000 people around the world moving to reduce the risk of serious illness.
