Buff grannies star in latest Virgin Mobile viral campaign

LONDON - Virgin Mobile has launched an online campaign to support its Super Buff Christmas push fronted by bikini-clad female body builders.

Viral clips which feature 'super-buff gran' continue the message of the print, outdoor poster and radio campaign. Online visitors are offered £35 free airtime when they buy a Virgin Mobile camera phone online.

One clip features star rival female body builders Flo and Jo trying to outdo each other in every day situations. Another shows an oiled-up bikini-clad granny make cheeky quips as she shows off her muscular physique.

James Kydd, brand director for Virgin Mobile, said: "Our Christmas camera phone promotion this year is all about getting your mitts on our super-buff range of mobile phones.

"We're building on our reputation for providing young, entertainment-hungry online users with irreverent new material by sponsoring a quirky bodybuilder animation series."

The campaign was developed by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and was planed by DMC.
