Ewan McGregor fronts a new BT campaign by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO that pokes fun at the ad industry.
The star of Trainspotting and Star Wars is surrounded by bumbling caricatures from the world of advertising – eg. a pretentious director and an overzealous creative – who insist on making the ads more complicated than they need to be. The footballers Robin van Persie and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, both BT Sport ambassadors, make cameos. The work was created by Richard Peretti and Gary Lathwell, and directed by Randy Krallman.
