BSkyB signs to ABC Electronic measurement system

LONDON - BSkyB has signed up to the ABC Electronic measurement scheme to provide advertisers with an audited figure for its traffic.

The audits will provide monthly data on page impressions and unique users for Sky.com. It will also supply figures for sections of the site including Sky News Online and Skysports.com.

Scott Deutrom, head of sales at BSkyB, said: "As a leading brand with a significant online presence, we recognise the importance of supporting industry standards and delivering third-party audited data to help promote the internet as an effective and accountable marketing communications channel."

ABC Electronic was established in 1996 to provide reliable online traffic data to media planners and buyers.
