BSkyB reappoints Sharpen Troughton Owens Response

LONDON - Sharpen Troughton Owens Response, formerly Red Cell Response, has landed a place on BSkyB's £25m direct marketing roster a year after it was eliminated from it.

The agency has started work on a number of briefs aimed at helping the broadcaster increase its subscriber numbers. Sky has a target to sign up 10m subscribers by 2010.

The agency is working on a project to promote Sky's new pricing system, which allows customers to buy certain packages on a month-by-month basis. It will also develop campaigns to boost subscriptions in areas where take-up is low.

The agency will work alongside Partners Andrews Aldridge, Finex and Flourish, which were appointed after a roster review last year.
