Both agencies already hold creative accounts for Britvic – BBH has Robinsons, J20, Fruit Shoot and Tango, while CHI has Drench – and will now also handle media planning on those brands.

MCHI, CHI's media arm, has also been appointed as the media buyer for the five brands. Mindshare will retain the Pepsi, 7-Up and Gatorade accounts.

Simon Stewart, the marketing director of Britvic, said: "We are evolving our agency roster to meet new and changing dynamics within the market and to drive forward our ambitious growth plans. We believe that integrating media planning within our creative agencies will deliver better creative and more media neutral solutions."

Meanwhile, The Marketing Store has been appointed as the sales promotion agency for Robinsons and Gatorade, Notorious has been appointed as the sales promotion agency for Tango, and KLP will be retained as the sales promotion agency for Pepsi and 7-Up.
