Britvic has spent £500k on press and online activity support the website launch. The company said: "The aim of the site is to re-engage kids with the brand and to create an interactive space that encourages ‘playground talkability'''.
There will be an online competition inviting children to virtually customise their own bedroom or holiday with the chance of winning it. The site fruitshoot.com, designed by Euro RSCG KLP, also allows children to create their own avatar, which will accompany them around the site. Competition entrants will also have the option to send their designs to a friend or post on social networking sites such as Facebook or Bebo.
