LONDON - The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is aiming create more enduring relationships with people considered to be at-risk from a heart condition.

The charity has hired BEC to handle the development and branding of a new information and support service due to launch later this year. The BHF will then recruit people to the sign up to the service through on- and offline marketing campaigns, also created by BEC.

The pitch was managed by the AAR and saw the agency go head-to-head with Tequila\London and 23Red.

According to the BHF, around 2.6m people are living in the UK with heart and circulatory disease. An estimated 5.5m people older than 30 are currently receiving treatment for high blood pressure.
