BABA currently has a kit provider in Adidas but no commercial partners.
The overhaul will see the introduction of five sponsor categories, which will allow brands to tap into the sport. The categories are Team GB Boxing Title Sponsor, Women's team partner, Community sport partner, Travel partner, Power partner.
The body has also created the new position of commercial director to manage its relationships with sponsors and is currently in a recruitment process.
The changes reflect the rising profile of amateur boxing, with the likes of Amir Khan and Audley Harrison rising through the amateur ranks in recent years to the professional world stage.
Team GB gained three medals in Beijing and BABA hopes to develop interest in the sport through new partners.
It also hopes to capitalise on the International Olympic Committee's (IOCs) recent decision to include female boxing at 2012.
Derek Mapp, executive chairman at BABA, said: "It offers real medal potential, guaranteed TV exposure and grassroots links that deliver enormous social benefits often in deprived communities.
"All of these help to differentiate boxing from other Olympic sports and give it the potential to generate huge interest in the build-up 2012 and at the games."
The partners will not be able to show branding at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games because of existing partners with Team GB.
However, a spokesman for BABA said that the body was currently in discussions with a mainstream broadcaster about televising a new amateur championship.
