Vodafone's mobile internet portal, Vodafone live!, will provide airline information to customers, including the ability to check availability and obtain a flight quote from handsets.
From this month, phone users with Vodafone-enabled handsets can search for flight arrivals and departures for all British Airways flights from any airport in the world; check availability and obtain flight prices for up to 360 days in advance.
They can access the latest operational news and BA's Executive Club account information to check mileage balance.
Vodafone live customers can register for text alerts on exclusive offers and promotions. Those who opt in during May and June have a chance to win a BA holiday in Barbados.
Jayne O'Brien, British Airways head of UK and Ireland marketing, said: "We have successfully trialled various mobile initiatives in the past and are delighted to embark on a longer term relationship, which provides an additional information channel for our customers. We will be reviewing the ability to offer a booking facility direct from Vodafone live! later this year."
