LONDON (Brand Republic) - Financial information provider Bridge Information Systems has sold a number of its businesses to US rival SunGuard Data Systems for $165m (£115m).
The company, which competes with Reuters and Bloomberg, recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Yesterday’s disposals included its Bridge Information business, which delivers data and news to customers’ desktops, and its internet services business eBridge.
Bridge, with 5000 employees worldwide and more than 300,000 users in 65 countries, is headquartered in New York city.
