Branding: Ocean Spray in sauce work

Ocean Spray, the cranberry products brand, is rolling out a fresh look for its Cranberry Sauce range ahead of Christmas, its peak sales period.

As well as being packaged in more rounded jars, the two primary variants have been rebranded from Original and Jellied to Wholeberry and Smooth, respectively. Packs also carry a 'contains antioxidants' label to push the product's health benefits. The design was created in-house.

Meanwhile, the brand's Gourmet range of Organic, Extra Fruit and Mulled Wine sauces are now entitled Growers' Reserve, and have gold lids to emphasise their quality.

Ocean Spray spent £5.5m on TV and press this year - its biggest-ever annual spend.
