Brandfuel creates outdoor garden for Android at MWC 2016

Android has enlisted agency Brandfuel to activate its presence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016, which is taking place from 22-25 February.

The outdoor Android Garden spans 210 metres - the equivalent of three Boing 747 aeroplanes - and it is designed to provide attendees with a place to relax away from the show.

The space is clearly recognisable thanks to the presence of oversized Android characters, and it is complete with smoothie bars, live topiary displays and the Android Experiments area, where guests are invited to explore the latest technologies.

The Google Play Music Studio is also central to the space. Built into a giant Android head, it offers delegates the chance to listen to more than 35 million songs using 3D printed headphones.

Visitors are also being invited to collect Android pins, of which there are over different 87 types this year, to personalise their own water bottle.

The experience was conceived, designed and built by Brandfuel, and 2016 marks the fifth year that the agency has worked with Android at MWC.
